LECD lamps have been in use almost everywhere a light source is needed for signage, backlighting, and soft ambient lighting. It is present in parks, roads, households, and even on military vessels.

WHY LECD?

EFFICIENT LIGHT SOURCE

Its long durability, mechanical robustness, thinness, low power consumption, and highly perceptible light makes it suitable for applications that have historically used conventional (and less efficient) light sources such as fluorescent and LED bulbs. Because LECD is non-dazzling, it can be beamed directly to the audience, making it a very efficient light source. Most signs still use reflection or dissipation to lit up, wasting heat and energy. LECD can work directly with 110 VAC 60 Hz without the use of transformers or inverters. Its low consumption allows it also to be powered by battery and solar-powered energy sources where underground cabling is not feasible.

VERSATILE AND ADAPTABLE

Not only LECD is as thin as cardboard, it also can take any bi-dimensional form and shape. It can be cut to order to fit custom projects of all types. LECD has been used to build instrumentation backlighting panels for military vessels and FAA air traffic control centers. It offers great advantages in critical environments as it does not disturb operators and does not generate heat.
